You have decided to study Japanese, huh? Many English speakers may feel daunted by the "number of hours" necessary to master Japanese.
You might also be interested in how to study Japanese quickly if you are taking online Japanese lessons.
Here are seven easy measures to take to learn Japanese quickly and effectively, without the trial-and-error that so many others have to go through. There is no longer the need to learn Japanese for hundreds of hours before you can communicate effectively in everyday life.
As soon as you put in
the effort, you can communicate in Japanese. The entire process of learning
Japanese from scratch is outlined here.
What follows is an honest assessment of the situation. Do you want to master the Japanese language? Do you have a good reason to think about "why" you're learning it?
Without this, you
won't have a reason to keep going when times become rough.
Perhaps you're an anime fan who wants to see the show in its native Japanese form rather than enduring subpar dubs. Perhaps your wildest ramen-related travel fantasies involve visiting Japan and sampling dishes from restaurants across the country. That is my wildest fantasy.
Determine your
"why" and put it in writing. Constantly remind yourself of your
motivation. Put a picture of a massive bowl of ramen as the backdrop on your
phone and computer. Glue it on your board of dreams.
Learning Japanese does
not necessitate relocation to Japan. Many teachers offer private Japanese lessons. But it would be best if you immersed
yourself in it. The most effective method for learning a new language is to
immerse oneself in a setting where speakers of that language constantly
surround them.
As I said before, a
group of Japanese speakers may live not too far from you. The first step in
learning Japanese is to find a language partner. This is the single most
effective method for acquiring a new language. You will not get far in
academics if you do not speak Japanese.
